My legs were in so much pain last night that I took 3 Advil PMs and PTFOed (my made-up term for “passed the eff out”). I slept like a log, thankfully, and when I woke up I was so excited to make breakfast! I always make homemade waffles on Sunday, made with FiberOne pancake mix, and I was looking forward to duplicating yesterday’s breakfast by smothering them in almond butter and banana slices and syrup [note to self: when doing this in the future on weekdays, only eat one waffle and add some fruit on the side; two waffles take up too many WW Points]. However, I sat down to my laptop to find a note from my dad…he brought home pizza, and there were a few slices waiting in the refrigerator with my name on them. Gameplan changed.
I started off with one of these Lite Frappuccinos. They’re pretty good, though they taste like a watered-down version of the real thing. I woke up at 10:30ish and wanted to sip on it for awhile to pass the time so I wouldn’t feel bad about eating pizza before AT LEAST 11am.
I sat down to read some blogs and got jealous all over again at all the people who attended the first-ever Healthy Living Summit. It was coordinated by some of my favorite bloggers, and it looks like everyone had a great time and learned a lot…hopefully they’ll do it again next year and I can attend!
When I finally decided to break down and have lunch, this is what I consumed (plus a teensy corner piece I ate cold on my way to the microwave). It’s not as bad as it could’ve been, but I’m pretty sure there were chunks of sausage in there, and I’m not usually a meat-eater. So yeah, those two pieces and some yogurt-based ranch dressing weren’t too bad, Points-wise.
PS – I hate my parents’ dinnerware. Reason #17,592 I want to move out: I miss my own beautiful dishes:
