Breaking the cycle

Since Christmas, I've been going to bed after 2am and I can't keep that up.  This morning I got woken up for a legitimate reason at 8:30, a perfectly reasonable time for someone to already be up and awake, and I felt sick all day because I didn't get enough sleep.  So I'm headed to bed, even though I wanted to write a post, because I'm hoping to break the cycle of going to bed at 2-4am and waking up at 10-11.

Wish me luck.

  1. Hope you get some great rest-its hard to force yourself to bed early but your body will thank you.

  4. I do wish you luck, Kate. When my sleep patterns get twisted, it takes me more than a week to smooth them out.

  8. Thanks, ladies. So far, I'm better at going to bed earlier. The waking up part...not so much. I've got plans to rearrange my bedroom furniture this week (ohhhh I hope I can get to that!!), and that will definitely give me a fresh start!

@Candace - thanks, girlie! Checking it out now!
@Bridget - Thanks so much! Good luck in your journey - I'm following you! In a non-creepy way, of course. :D
